Possible Causes
NOTE:
This DTC is set when the powertrain control module has not received an expected signal from the active grille air shutter motor within the specified time interval.
- Active grille air shutter mechanical failure
- Active grille air shutter motor power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
- LIN bus circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Active grille air shutter motor internal failure
