DTC B1002-1B: Left Hood Hinge Deployment Control - Circuit resistance above threshold: Action
WARNING:
The vehicle must not be driven if the hood has been deployed.
NOTE:
Repairs due to a collision are not warrantable.
- Check the vehicle for collision damage. Repair as necessary. Install a new left hood latch release deployment control
- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check the left hood latch release deployment control circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Install a new wiring harness as necessary. If no wiring harness fault exists, using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new left hood latch release deployment control
