- Check for DTCs related to any of the components listed and refer to the relevant DTC index.
- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check engine coolant temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit
- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check ambient air temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit
- Check the battery voltage, repair as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, complete a CAN network integrity test
