- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check datalogger signal, Sump Oil Temperature - Measured (0x03F3)
- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check oil temperature level sensor circuit for short circuit to power
- Check and install a new oil temperature level sensor as required. Refer to the warranty policy and procedures manual, or determine if any prior approval program is in operation, prior to the installation of a new module/component
