P2097-02: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich Bank 1 - General signal failure: Action

NOTE: Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging strategy. Drive vehicle under steady state conditions for up to 20 minutes

Check the exhaust system for leaks. Repair as necessary
Check pre and post catalyst oxygen sensors for damage and correct installation
Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) heater control circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
