Tire Pressure Sensor Initiation

The TPMS module can automatically learn the position of tires on the vehicle if the tire pressure sensors or their positions are changed on the vehicle. This process is called the Auto-location function and takes 15 minutes to be completed. Tire pressure sensors will be learned by the system when vehicle is first driven at a speed of 16 mph (25 km/h) or more for at least 15 minutes.

NOTE: If the vehicle speed is decreased while the auto-location function is activated the learn process timer will be suspended until the vehicle speed increases to the required speed. If the required speed is not reached for more than 15 minutes, the learn process timer will be set to zero and restart once the required speed is reached.
