4.20.1 Sensor Stuck

This monitor checks that the fuel rail temperature sensor is not stuck in range.

If the engine speed is over a calibrated limit, the engine is not stalled and the engine has been off for more than a certain time, then the fuel rail temperature must change by a calibrated amount within a predetermined time period, otherwise a failure will be detected. If the fuel rail temperature does change by an amount equal to or greater than this threshold then a normal judgment is made.
