Self-Diagnostic System

Before performing any repairs, ensure Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are not set. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If any DTCs are present, diagnose accordingly. If no DTCs are present, diagnose by symptom. See SYSTEM TESTS .
