Disc Brake Caliper: Reassembly

  1. Coat each cylinder bore, piston and NEW piston seal with brake fluid before installing. Place piston seal in groove in bore. Install NEW dust seal over cylinder groove. Carefully insert piston through dust seal.
  2. Pull dust seal into groove in piston. Using piston clamp, press piston completely into cylinder bore. Repeat procedure for other pistons and seals. Install caliper and bleed hydraulic system. See BLEEDING PROCEDURE  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM
