DTCS P0101 MAF Sensor Range/Performance, P0102: MAF Sensor Input Low & P0103: MAF Sensor Input High

NOTE: After each repair, clear DTCs. See CLEARING CODES/PCM RESET PROCEDURE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition off and then on. Read DTCs to verify repair is complete. For DLC and PCM connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Turn ignition on. DO NOT disconnect MAF sensor connector. Using DVOM, check Black/Light Green wire on XJR and XJ6, or Black/Yellow wire on XJS for voltage at MAF sensor connector terminal No. 1. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified, repair appropriate wire as necessary.
  2. Check Green/Pink wire for voltage at MAF sensor connector terminal No. 2. If voltage is 0-5 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not 0-5 volts, repair wiring as necessary.
  3. Check Pink/Gray wire for voltage at MAF sensor connector terminal No. 3. If no voltage is present, go to next step. If any voltage is present, repair wiring as necessary.
  4. Substitute a known-good MAF sensor. Clear DTCs. Turn ignition off and then on. Read DTCs. If MAF sensor DTC does not return, replace original MAF sensor. If MAF sensor DTC returns, replace PCM.
