Removal & Installation (6.0L)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. Disconnect throttle control rods from throttle pulley lever, and position throttle control rods aside. Rotate throttle pulley lever and disconnect speed control rod. Remove throttle bracket assembly retaining nuts, and position throttle bracket assembly aside for access.
- Disconnect throttle position sensor wiring connector. Remove throttle position sensor mounting screws and throttle position sensor. Remove and discard "O" ring seal from throttle position sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install NEW "O" ring onto throttle position sensor. Make sure mating surfaces are clean.
