Removal & Installation (4.0L)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect throttle position sensor wiring connector. Remove throttle position sensor mounting screws, starting with screw closest to front of vehicle first. Remove throttle position sensor retaining plate and throttle position sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Make sure mating surfaces are clean. Ensure throttle position sensor is fully seated, and that it engages correctly onto spindle.
