Description & Operation
Instrument panel contains 2 large main dials and 4 small supplementary gauges. All are conventional analog gauges providing 90-degree movement for the 4 minor gauges, and 270-degree movement for the 2 major gauges.
The trip meter is integrated into the tachometer, and the odometer into the speedometer. The pulse signal, required to operate speedometer, is controlled by a speed sensor located in the differential unit. The engine speed signal from the ignition coil negative terminal is received by the tachometer. Various warning lights are located in a row at top of instrument panel. See Fig 1 .
