Removal & Installation

  1. Switch ignition on and position mirror fully downward. Disconnect battery ground. Insert a flat plastic lever between glass and housing, and detach mirror from its retaining clip.
    CAUTION: Insert lever no deeper than 4 mm to avoid fouling mirror motor assembly.
  2. Support glass assembly and disconnect heated element cable connectors. For installation, reverse removal procedure. Note that pressure should be applied ONLY at center of glass assembly.
