Control Switch

The vehicle has 2 switches: a master switch (OFF/ON/SET) located adjacent to the gear selector quadrant and a RESUME button located at the end of the combination switch stalk.

To operate, move master switch to ON position. Accel-erate vehicle in a normal manner until required cruising speed is reached. Move master switch to SET position and release, then remove foot from accelerator pedal. Vehicle will automatically main-tain SET speed.

Speed of vehicle can be increased by depressing accelerator pedal. Selected speed will resume when accelerator pedal is released.

To adjust cruising speed, brake or accelerate until desired speed is attained then move master switch to SET position and release.

SET speed can be increased by moving master switch to SET position and holding there. Vehicle speed will gradually increase until desired speed is reached and switch is released.

Cruise control will disengage when brake pedal is depressed. If vehicle speed is above 25 MPH, original set speed can be recalled by pressing and releasing RESUME button.

Cruise control will operate when gear selector is in "2", "3" or "D". System will automatically disengage when brake pedal is pressed or speed falls below 25 MPH. To cancel speed control and erase the electronic memory, move master switch to OFF position or turn ignition switch off.
