Steering Column: Installation
- Install switch pack to column, and tighten screws. Secure harness to column using NEW tie-wrap. Locate column on knuckle joint, and loosely install upper securing nuts. Install and tighten nut and bolt securing knuckle joint.
- Install pedal plate assembly. Install and tighten column lower securing nuts. Install spacers to upper securing studs, and fully tighten nuts. Install pedal assembly, pivots and circlips to mounting plate. Secure throttle cable to pedal using retaining clip, and install cotter pin. Connect multiplugs, and install footwell carpet.
- Clip dash liner to its lower mounting, and secure retaining strap around mounting using nut. Clip dash liner to its upper mounting, and push in fastener. Install upper cowl, and secure it using screws.
- Position lower cowl, install covers and secure using screws. Install steering wheel and air bag module.
