Road Test
Drive vehicle on the road, allowing transmission to shift through all ranges. Note transmission performance under varying load conditions: Light throttle, full throttle, and kickdown. Transmission should operate smoothly but firmly, with no apparent slipping or engine speed flare-up. Compare transmission shift points with figures given in SHIFT SPEED SPECIFICATIONS table.
