Battery Connections Test

  1. Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Connect voltmeter positive lead to output terminal (B+). Ground negative lead. Note reading. Connect voltmeter positive lead to battery positive terminal, and negative lead to battery negative terminal.
  2. Both readings should be the same. If not, check for broken wires, faulty connections or corroded terminals.
