Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) Electrical Connector Tip: Clean the dirt and debris from around the EBCM before disconnecting the electrical connector.
2	EBCM Screw (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 3 N.m (26 lb in)
3	EBCM Procedure A slight amount of force may be necessary to separate the EBCM from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). DO NOT pry on the EBCM. After separating the EBCM from the BPMV, cover the BPMV with a lint-free towel to prevent it from becoming contaminated. Care should be used when installing the EBCM to the BPMV to avoid damage to the internal components. Program the EBCM. Refer to Control Module References .
