Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement

Callout Component Name
CAUTION: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution .
Preliminary Procedures: Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Electrical Connector
2 Clip
Tip:  Before working on the brake pipes, release the locking tab on the retaining clip.
3 Fittings (Qty: 6)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  25 N.m (18 lb ft)


Tip: 
  1. Before removing the brake pipes from the ABS module, clean all dirt and debris from the ABS module.
  2. Cap or plug the brake pipes to prevent contamination of the brake system and fluid leaks.
  3. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed Procedure .
4 Bolts (Qty: 3)

Tighten:  20 N.m (15 lb ft)

5 Bolt

Tighten:  11 N.m (97 lb in)
