Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Isuzu Ascender, 2008 GMC Envoy, and 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement .
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the motor/actuator.
  3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Perform the Initialization/Teach Procedure. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (New Motor)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) .
  5. Verify the operation of the sunroof.
