Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

The crankshaft position (CKP) sensor provides a signal used by the engine control module (ECM) to calculate the ignition sequence. The sensor initiates the 58X reference pulses which the ECM uses to calculate RPM and crankshaft position.
