Front Differential Cage Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the lock pin retaining bolt.
  2. Remove the ring gear.
  3. Remove the lock pin. See Fig 2.
  4. Remove the cross pin using a soft metal rod and a hammer. See Fig 3.
  5. Remove pinion gear and thrust washer.
  6. Remove the side gear.
  7. Remove the thrust washer.
