Ascender 4.2L
- Remove fuel tank cap.
- Remove fuel pump relay from underhood junction block. See Fig 1 .
- Crank engine.
- Allow engine to start and stall.
- Crank engine an additional 3 seconds.
- Turn ignition off.
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Install and tighten fuel filler cap.
- Install fuel pump relay.
