Conditions For Setting DTC
- No DTCs related to Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), MAP sensor, EGR pintle position sensor, Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, Misfire DTCs or automatic transmission DTCs are stored.
- Engine coolant temperature is 140°F (60°C) or more.
- Ignition voltage between 11.5 and 16.0 volts.
- Vehicle speed is greater than 16 MPH (25 km/h).
- A/C clutch status is unchanged.
- Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) status is unchanged.
- Barometric Pressure is more than 75 kPa.
- Engine speed is more than 800 RPM.
- Above conditions are present for 1.25 second monitoring period (M/T) or 1.5 second monitoring period (A/T).
