Circuit Description

Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) circuit provides a voltage signal relative to accelerator pedal angle. APS2 angle will vary from about 87 percent at idle position to about 13 percent at wide open throttle. DTC P1280 detects a continuous short to ground in either APS2 circuits or sensor.
