Circuit Description

Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) circuit provides a voltage signal relative to accelerator pedal angle. APS1 angle will vary from about 13 percent at idle position to about 87 percent at wide open throttle. DTC P1275 detects a continuous short to ground or high resistance in either APS1 circuits or sensor.
