Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, low system voltage, fuel system, EVAP canister purge, fuel injector control or ignition control DTC are stored.
• Barometric pressure is 75 kPa or more.
• EVAP canister purge duty cycle is 10 percent or more.
• Engine running time is 125 seconds or more.
• Vehicle speed is less than 1 mph.
• Engine coolant temperature is 122°F (50°C) or more.
• Ignition voltage is 9.5-16.7 volts.
• Throttle is closed.
• Engine speed is 100-200 RPM higher than specified, based on engine coolant temperature.
• All conditions are met for 10 seconds or more.
