Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, low system voltage, fuel system, EVAP canister purge, fuel injector control or ignition control DTC are stored.
• MAP sensor value is less than 60 kPa.
• EVAP canister purge duty cycle is 10 percent or more.
• Vehicle speed is less than 1 mph.
• Engine coolant temperature is 122°F (50°C) or more.
• Ignition voltage is 9.5-16.7 volts.
• Throttle is closed.
• Barometric pressure is 74.5 kPa or more.
• Engine speed is 100-200 RPM lower than specified, based on engine coolant temperature.
• All conditions are met for 10 seconds or more.
