Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor or Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor DTCs are stored.
• Start-up engine coolant temperature is less than 90°F (32°C).
• Start-up engine coolant temperature is not 13°F (7°C) more than start-up intake air temperature.
• Start-up intake air temperature is more than 39°F (4°C).
• Start-up intake air temperature is not 4°F (2°C) more than start-up engine coolant temperature.
• Vehicle speed is less than 5 MPH.
• Throttle position is 3 percent or more.
• Minimal fuel slosh.
• Barometer (BARO) pressure is 70 kPa or more.
• EVAP system is unable to achieve or maintain vacuum during diagnostic test.
• Engine speed is less than 1200 RPM.
• Above conditions are present for 60-180 seconds.
