Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• Engine is running.
• Ignition voltage is between 11 and 16 volts.
• Intake air temperature is more than 37°F (3°C).
• Desired EGR position is less than 3 percent.
• Difference between desired EGR and current EGR is less than 3 percent.
• Difference between EGR pintle current and command positions becomes more than 15 percent and lasts more than 15 seconds, condition is meant three times in a trip cycle, PCM will illuminate MIL.
