Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No EGR, HO2S (response, transition, open, low voltage, no activity). MAF sensor, TPS, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, EVAP system (canister purge), fuel injector circuit or misfire DTCs are stored.
• Engine coolant temperature is between 43°F (6°C) and 221°F (105°C).
• Intake air temperature is between -40°F (-40°C) and 248°F (120°C).
• Manifold absolute pressure is between 24 and 99 kPa.
• Throttle angle is steady between 3 and 95 percent.
• Vehicle speed is less than 85 MPH.
• Engine speed is between 400 and 6000 RPM.
• Barometric pressure is 72.5 kPa or more.
• Mass air flow is between 2 and 200 grams/sec.
• Ignition system is more than 9.5 volts.
• Fuel system is in closed loop.
• Canister purge duty cycle is more than zero percent if ON.
