Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No active IAT or ECT DTCs are present.
• Engine is running.
• Vehicle speed is more than 5 MPH.
• Intake air temperature is more than 14°F (-10°C).
• Start-up engine coolant temperature is between 14°F (-10°C) and 82°F (28°C).
• For a warm engine, intake air temperature is more than 50°F (10°C), engine coolant temperature sufficient to allow closed loop operation 122°F (50°C) is not achieved within 2 minutes of start-up. For a cold engine, intake air temperature between 19.4°F and 50°F (-7°C and 10°C), engine coolant temperature sufficient to allow closed loop operation 122°F (50°C) is not achieved within 10 minutes of start-up.
• Above condition fails 20 consecutive times.
