Starter Cut Relay Test

Locate and remove starter relay from vehicle. Connect power to relay terminal No. 3 and ground to relay terminal No. 4. See Fig 1 . Ensure continuity exists between relay terminals No. 1 and 2. Disconnect power and ground from terminals No. 3 and 4. Continuity should no longer exist between terminals No. 1 and 2. If starter cut relay does not perform as specified, replace starter cut relay.
