Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No scan tool test is being run.
• No EGR, HO2S (response, transition, open, low voltage, no activity). MAF sensor, TPS, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, EVAP system (canister purge), fuel injector circuit or misfire DTCs are set.
• Engine coolant temperature is between 149°F (65°C) and 219°F (104°C).
• Intake air temperature is between -40°F (-40°C) and 248°F (120°C).
• Manifold absolute pressure is between 24 and 99 kPa.
• Engine speed is between 400 and 6000 RPM.
• Barometric pressure is 72.5 kPa or more.
• Ignition system is 9.5 volts or more.
• Engine is operating in closed loop mode.
• Average of short term fuel trim samples is 1.012 or more, and adaptive index multiplier samples is 1.25 or more.
