Diagnostic Aids

Setting of this DTC indicates a misfire was detected, and PCM could not determine if fault was a true misfire or due to operating vehicle on a rough surface. A misfire can be a true misfire with or without setting this DTC. Check Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) for poor connections at Class 2 serial data terminals. Be sure no misfire exists after repairing original cause for setting this DTC.
