Removal & Installation: Compressor: Installation

If installing new compressor, drain and discard all refrigerant oil shipped with compressor. Drain and record amount of refrigerant oil from removed compressor, then discard recorded amount. If less than 3 ounces was recorded, add that amount to compressor just prior to installation. If 3 ounces or more was recorded, add only 3 ounces to compressor just prior to installation. Lubricate "O" rings and install on refrigerant line fittings. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Evacuate A/C system. Charge A/C system to specification.
