Activating System

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove key. Connect passenger-side air bag assembly 2-pin connector. Install glove box assembly. See Figure . Connect driver-side air bag 2-pin connector at base of steering column. Install SRS fuse C-21 (10 amp) to left dash side lower fuse block or reconnect battery. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Verify that AIR BAG warning light flashes seven times and then turns off. If warning light does not operate as described, see DIAGNOSIS & TESTING .
