Vehicle DRIVEABILITY Computer Relearn Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Isuzu Hombre. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Manufacturer does not provide a specific computer relearn procedure for obtaining proper driveability. If vehicle battery was disconnected or Vehicle Control Module (VCM) was replaced, driving the vehicle will enable the VCM to perform a computer relearn procedure for obtaining proper driveability. Inform customer that driveability may differ from what they are accustomed to until the VCM completes the computer relearn procedure.
