Left Window Inoperative

  1. Disconnect left window regulator motor. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using DVOM, measure voltage between left window regulator motor connector terminals "B" (Dark Blue wire) and "A" (Brown wire). Operate left window switch on master switch assembly to UP and DOWN positions. If battery voltage is present in both positions, go to step  3 . If battery voltage is not present in both positions, go to next step.
  2. Check for open circuit in Dark Blue wire or Brown wire between driver's master switch assembly and left front window regulator motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair as necessary. If both circuits are okay, replace master switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Check left window regulator motor connector for poor terminal contact. If connection is okay, replace left window regulator motor. See WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
