All Windows Inoperative: Trooper
- Check ELEC IGN (15-amp) fuse, located in dash fuse box. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse and recheck system operation.
- Use DVOM to check continuity of C/B-2 (P/W, P/S, S/R) circuit breaker, located in dash fuse box. If circuit breaker is okay, go to next step. If circuit breaker is bad, replace breaker and recheck system operation.
- Ensure ground connection B-19 is secure. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Repair if necessary. If ground connection is okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect power window relay located in dash fuse box. Measure voltage between ground and power window relay cavity terminal No. 2 (Black/Blue wire). If battery voltage is indicated, go to step 6. If battery voltage is not indicated, go to next step.
- Repair open in Black/Blue wire between C/B-2 circuit breaker and power window relay (located in dash fuse box). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, go to back to step 4.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Measure voltage between ground and power window relay cavity terminal No. 1 (Blue/White wire). If battery voltage is indicated, go to step 8. If battery voltage is not indicated, go to next step.
- Repair open in Blue/White wire between ELEC IGN fuse and power window relay (located in dash fuse box). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, repeat step 6.
- Use DVOM to check for continuity between ground and power window relay cavity terminal No. 3 (Black wire). If continuity is indicated, replace power window relay. If continuity is not indicated, go to next step.
- Repair open in Black wire between ground connection B-19 and power window relay (located in dash fuse box). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
