Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation (CKF) Sensor

CKF sensor is located behind lower timing belt cover, next to timing belt drive pulley. PCM monitors CKF sensor to determine engine speed for engine misfire detection and for lean burn control. Amount of fuel injected will be increased or decreased based on crankshaft angular acceleration level (target air-fuel ratio).
