Section 7 (A/C-Heater System): Description

The A/C-heating system blends cool and warm air in correct proportions to meet cooling/heating requirements. System components include evaporator, compressor, condenser, receiver-drier and expansion valve. See Fig 1 .
The compressor is controlled by an electronic thermostat located on evaporator housing. Compressor is protected by a pressure switch that shuts compressor off when system pressure exceeds or drops below predetermined levels.
