All Windows Inoperative: Hombre
- Remove driver's door lock and side window switch and disconnect electrical connectors. Connect test light between ground and driver's door lock and side window switch connector C1 terminal "L" (Dark Green wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Turn ignition switch to ON position. If test light comes on, go to step 7). If test light does not come on, go to next step.
- Remove POWER WINDOW circuit breaker from Body Bussed Electrical Center (BBEC). Connect a self-powered test light between ground and driver's door lock and side window switch connector C1 terminal "L" (Dark Green wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If test light comes on, go to step 4). If test light does not come on, go to next step.
- Repair power feed to POWER WINDOW circuit breaker. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
- Connect DVOM between circuit breaker terminals and measure resistance. If reading is greater than .5 ohm, go to step 6). If reading is less than .5 ohm, go to next step.
- Repair open in Dark Green wire between BBEC and driver's door lock and side window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
- Replace circuit breaker. Locate and repair short to ground in Dark Green wire between BBEC and driver's door lock and side window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
- Connect self-powered test light between ground and driver's door lock and side window switch connector C1 terminal "C" (Black wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, go to step 9).
- Replace driver's door lock and side window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After replacement, recheck system operation.
- Repair open in Black wire between ground and driver's door lock and side window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After replacement, recheck system operation.
