Retrieving Trouble Codes
- Locate 2-pin test connector behind left side of glove box. Install fused jumper wire or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) between 2-pin connector terminals. See Fig 1
. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure brake pedal is not depressed. Record blinking ABS indicator light sequence. See Fig 2
.
- When ignition is turned on, ABS indicator light will turn on for 2 seconds, then off for 3.6 seconds before blinking first DTC. This should not be counted as a DTC. If a DTC is not set, ABS indicator light will turn off for 3.6 seconds then turn on and stay on.
- If light flashes DTC(s), conduct appropriate test procedures. If light does not flash DTC(s), go to ABS INDICATOR LIGHT REMAINS ON, BUT DOES NOT FLASH TROUBLE CODES. After DTC have been retrieved, turn ignition switch off. Remove fused jumper wire or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100).
