Clearing Trouble Codes
NOTE:
Ensure vehicle does not move and SCS Service Connector is not disconnected from 2-pin service check connector. If brake pedal is not operated as specified, DTC will not be cleared.
- Locate 2-pin test connector behind left side of glove box. Install fused jumper wire or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) between 2-pin connector terminals. See Figure .
- Depress brake pedal. Turn ignition switch to ON position while depressing brake pedal. ABS indicator light should turn on for 2 seconds and turn off. See Fig 1 . After ABS indicator light turns off, release brake pedal. ABS indicator light should turn on after 4 seconds.
- After ABS indicator light turns on, depress brake pedal again. ABS indicator light should turn off again after 4 seconds. After ABS indicator light turns off, release brake pedal again. After 4 seconds, ABS indicator light will blink 2 times for .3 second and DTC will be erased.
- If indicator light does not blink 2 times, repeat steps 1)-3). If indicator light stays on after indicator light blinks 2 times, recheck for DTC. After DTC have been erased, turn ignition off. Remove fused jumper wire or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100).
