Door & Tailgate Detect Switch

Disconnect key switch. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between key switch terminals No. 1 and 3. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist with door locked, and should not exist with door unlocked. If continuity is not as specified, replace key switch. If continuity is as specified, repair circuit as necessary. See ANTI-THEFT CONTROLLER CIRCUIT TEST  under SYSTEM TESTS.
