Test C-5: Motor Relay Inspection

  1. Remove motor relay. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage and ground to motor relay terminals No. 2 and 3. See Figure. Using DVOM, ensure continuity is present between motor relay te rminals No. 1 and 4.
  2. Remove jumper wires. Ensure continuity is not present between motor relay terminals No. 1 and 4. Replace motor relay if continuity is not as specified.
