Front Wipers Do Not Operate In Int Position

  1. Disconnect wiper/washer switch. Place wiper/washer switch in INT position. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between wiper/washer switch terminals No. 1 and 2. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, perform wiper/washer switch test. See Figure . Replace as necessary.
  2. Disconnect intermittent wiper relay. Turn ignition on. With wiper/washer switch in INT position. Check for battery voltage at intermittent wiper relay terminal No. 4 (Light Green/Red wire). If battery voltage exists, replace intermittent wiper relay. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Light Green/Red wire between connector and wiper/washer switch.
