Test C-1: "G" Sensor Inspection

Remove "G" sensor mounting bolt (leave harness connector connected). Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage (backprobe) between "G" sensor harness connector terminals No. 2 (Yellow/Black wire) and No. 3 (Yellow/Green wire). Move "G" sensor forward and backward. If voltage varies between zero and 5 volts, check for an intermittent problem. If voltage is not as specified, replace "G" sensor.
